PROJECT TMAX is a technical and vocational education and training (TVET) created to empower Nigerian youths with practical skills while increasing or amplifying the public and private sectors in the country .

PROJECT T-MAX

Project T-max is a practical and professional development programme approved by committee of National steering committee on National poverty reduction with growth strategy (NPRGS) as one of the core interventions to acheive the federal Government’s goal of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2030 .

OBJECTIVE
To utilise clear , viable and lasting technical and voctional educational Training that will empower Nigerian youths with practical skills which will enable them to be self -employed

PROJECT DETAILS

The project is Targeted at equiping 15,000 Nigerians youths in the following 7 _States :Lagos , Ogun, Edo, Enugu, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Gombe with relevant skills needed from August 2022.
The Agency responsible for the implementation of this project is Industrial Trust Fund (ITF)

LIST OF SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

Below is the list of skills that Nigerian youths will be trained on .

• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  
• Agricpreneur /Agro -Packaging ( Agro businesses )
  
• Fashion Design /Tailoring
  
• Leather works
  
• Beauty care and cosmetology
  
• Photography and cinematology
  
• Air conditioning and Refrigeration Repairs
  
• Solar Installation and maintenance
  
• Electrical installation
  
• Tiling and interlocking
  
• Plumbing and fittings
  
• Wielding and fabrication
  
• Furniture

BENEFITS OF THIS PROGRAMME

All successful candidates will be given certificate of expertise
Starter -kits will be given to successful participants who fufil the necessary requirements
Every succcessful participant will be placed in 3-months internship programme with public and private organzations

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT/CONDITIONS

You must be between 18 -35 years
must be residents in the aforementioned states
Must be able to speak and write English language
You must be available to attend the all the classes or at least 90 % of the classes
Must adhere to all the rules and regulations of the training
