We are currently hiring for the position of POS Technician.
About the Role
The POS Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and support of Point of Sale (POS) devices, ensuring all hardware systems function effectively within our distribution network. The role includes providing technical support and managing repair processes for POS terminals, including Linux, Android, MPOS, and Kiosk devices.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the hardware team to oversee the entire repair process for POS devices.
- Provide second-level technical support for hardware-related issues.
- Manage and coordinate terminal repair centers across the network.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- A B.Sc. or HND in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical expertise in repairing terminals, including PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise devices.
- Prior experience in Agency Banking is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, relationship management, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Self-motivation, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English.
- Residency in Lagos State.
