Coca-cola company.position: Quality and Environment Manager

The Quality and Environment Manager directly reports to the Plant Manager and indirectly to the Country QSE Manager. Their primary responsibility is overseeing the implementation and management of Quality, Food Safety, and environment processes across the entire Plant Supply Chain operation. This includes leading Continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as CCH, TCCC, and local/international guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Quality Improvement initiatives for bottling equipment and laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Maintain Housekeeping/Hygiene in the manufacturing and plant operating areas.
Implement programs to reduce consumer complaints and handle them efficiently.
Coordinate the full implementation of the Food Safety Management System.
Provide leadership for formalizing manufacturing/operational processes.
Ensure effective Pest control and implementation of HACCP and microbiological monitoring programs.
Lead audits and Root Cause Analysis sessions for non-conformances during internal and external audits.
Promote awareness of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) among associates.
Ensure compliance with Good Housekeeping Standards.
Ensure plant operations comply with local and TCCC requirements for Environmental Management.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in relevant fields.
Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Experience in compliance and audit management systems in the food industry.
Lead Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, OHSAS 18000/ISO 45000, ISO 14001.
Knowledge of Coca-Cola Hellenic QSE policies, CSR policies, and processes.
Technical knowledge of Carbonated Soft Drinks and associated beverage products.
Operational experience in QSE areas, including Food Safety, Food Engineering, Packaging, Microbiology, and Chemistry principles.
Understanding of Bottling and packaging processes, including Water Treatment and Effluent Waste management.
Knowledge of Local and International Food Regulations (CODEX, NAFDAC, SON, FCCPC).
