The 2024 WAAW Foundation Scholarship is now accepting applications. This scholarship supports African female college students pursuing degrees in STEM fields. Recipients can concentrate on their academic achievements while also participating in community service and promoting women’s involvement in STEM through their university’s STEM Outreach Chapter.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a female student of African descent, residing and studying in Africa.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Major in a STEM-related field at a university or college in Africa.
Be a first or second-year student, or a third-year student in a five-year program.
Demonstrate financial need.
Maintain a strong academic record.
Have a history of leadership, volunteering, and community service.
Be under 32 years of age.
Benefits:
The WAAW Foundation Scholarship provides a one-time award of $500.
