Job Description
*Applicant will be mandated to lead the identification of the requirements of the SME segment’s cloud and the development of sacrosanct cloud value proposition that discusses them.

*Applicant will be required to in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners carry out a development of cloud solutions from basic concepts to their commercial launch and eventually develop strategies to manage them through the Product Management Lifecycle.

*Applicant is expected to be a self-starter who can work independently with little or no supervision and yet deliver an excellent job in a multi-stakeholding environment.

*Applicant will also be tasked with the demands of implementing and managing enabling platforms that ensure a smooth customer journey and unrivaled customer experience.

*Also, applicant will manage and put under control cloud solution performance and profitability under the portfolio.

*Applicant will implement creative strategies for the portfolio to greatly utilise the brand’s accelerative growth, profit-making and market share to establish input in the operational and diplomatic strategies for revenue increase.

*There will be a measurement of the success of applicant against the delivery of new products, services, revenue, profits and the utility derived by customers in both SME and Corporate segments markets.

Focused Areas of Assessment
*The Drive of Profitable Growth for the Brand’s Business:

*Applicant will account for the delivery of the revenue of products, profit and the utility derived by customers from the consumption of brand’s product.

*Applicant will have to own, define, document and strike agreements with the prioritized stakeholders, a plan of product that reckon with the market landscape, scope and performance of product, strategy and objectives, experience of customer, growth roadmap for Italy that proves to be productive within the framework of global portfolio.

*Applicant will create and own the requirements for market specifications and business cases for the products.

*Applicant will also take on the responsibility of taking services through the MTN Product Development Process. Applicants will as well account for the lifecycle of product management. This however includes the management of product performance, maintenance of the collateral and training materials of group product that is high ranking, product marketing and PR activities, the Innovation and rationalisation of products.

*Applicant will manage the brand’s prominent and prioritized stakeholders in the brand’s Segment, Marketing, Technology etc.

*Applicant will account for all product-related costs including capex and opex and their competitive impacts.

The Parade of Operational Excellence:
*Applicant is expected to understand the strategic business plans of clients, indicators of key performance as well as the decision-making process that leads to the creation of ICT opportunities.

*Applicant must have a profound understanding of the strategic partners of the clients and techniques to identify opportunities.

*Applicant must be able to accurately analyse industry competition as well as the needs of market.

*Applicant must be able to plan and forecast accurately.

*Applicant must provide input into the operational and promotional planning which is expected to ensure the growth of revenue within some designated accounts.

*Applicant will also monitor the opportunities of growth through the scanning of the activities of competitors and giving of feedbacks to business on such opportunities for the development of the brand.

*Applicant will also be made to recommend ways to exploit new opportunities to further foster business growth.

*Applicant will provide input into the restructuring of processes and systems and support that must be in line with the changing work practices.

Cloud Marketplace
*Applicant will be accountable for the management of design, launch as well as the market place management.

*Applicant will manage cutting-edge enterprise services business model that are in highly technical environment and trans-functional teams which includes partners, large enterprise customers and tech providers.

*Applicant will carry out a development of deals, contracts, and business cases that are commercial for the product and service category.

*Applicant will manage the delivery of products in the market place including the identification and prioritisation of candidate categories, building the differentiating offering and proposition.

*Applicant will carry out the management and evolution of the marketplace Agile and Innovation processes as well as the creation of ideas of methods for requirements gathering.

*Applicant will ensure that there is an alignment with the extensive part of MTN commercial strategy, architecture and services.

*Applicant will also facilitate the marketplace platform financial integrity and sustainability.

*Applicant will at the same time ensure alignment with the strategy and platforms of the brand’s strategy and platforms.

Budget Management:

*Applicant will manage the public communications strategy for the Marketplace.

*Applicant will also ensure that there is appropriate governance and quality Control measures .

*Applicant will ensure the utility of sound practices that comply with best practice, legislation and other regulations, parameters and guidelines.

*Applicant should maintain quality standards that will enhance the customer experience as well as being cost-efficient.

*Applicant must work consistently according to the standard of operating procedures.

*Applicant will analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure that there is a maintenance of quality.

*Applicant will endeavour to seek feedback from clients/ stakeholders and continuously seeks ways of improving on the standards of service and quality for customers.

Independence of thought and Judgment:

*Applicant should possess good commercial acumen.

*Applicant should make decisions to drive immediate response times

Applicant must understand that the prioritization of work is sacrosanct

*Applicant will ensure Goodwill credits within procedure and delegation of authority.

*Applicant must evaluate credits and debits validity and the allocation of credit and debit value.

*Applicant will handle the dissemination of information.

*Applicant will facilitate the Improvement of processes and procedures.

*Applicant will carry out personal presentation that is in line with the image of the company.

Educational Requirements

*Applicant must possess a minimum of three years Degree or Diploma in ICT or Commerce or any other equivalent field.

*A Certification in cloud expertise with, at least a global hyperscalers

Years of Experience:

*Applicant must possess a minimum of five years experience in Cloud Product Management with a proven track record of a successful launching of products and solutions from cloud hyperscalers (Microsoft/AWS/Google/Huawei) and top ISVs.

*Applicant must possess an experience in launching or management of cloud marketplace.

*An experience in working with external partners in collaborative development will be of great advantage.
