Apply Now: 2025 Kickstart Entrepreneurship Program by International Breweries (Up to ₦3 Million in Grants, Training & Mentorship)

International Breweries PLC, through its CSR-focused foundation—International Breweries Foundation—is now accepting applications for the 2025 Kickstart Entrepreneurship Program. This initiative is a corporate social investment project designed to empower young Nigerian entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35.

What Is the Kickstart Program About?

Kickstart is tailored to support early-stage businesses across critical sectors including:

  • Agriculture (e.g., rice, maize, and sorghum farming)
  • Retailing (especially those selling International Breweries’ products)
  • Circular Packaging
  • Renewable Energy
  • Other innovative business sectors

The program offers a comprehensive support package that includes:

  • Business Training
  • Seed Funding (Up to ₦3,000,000)
  • Post-Investment Support (Mentorship and Coaching)

It is designed to foster entrepreneurship among Nigerian youth and reduce unemployment by funding viable business ideas and helping them scale

Program Background

The Kickstart initiative was launched in Nigeria in 2016, initially serving the Southwest and Southeast regions. By 2019, it expanded into a national program accessible to all six geo-political zones. As of 2025, it marks its 10th anniversary in Nigeria, continuing to transform lives and create jobs.

Kickstart is also part of a broader African initiative by AB InBev’s Africa Zone, having successfully run in countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Lesotho, and Eswatini.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Be resident in Nigeria and operate a business within the country
  • Be proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Own a business that is 0–3 years old
  • Operate in one of the following areas:
    • Agriculture
    • Retail
    • Renewable Energy
    • Circular Packaging
    • Other micro-enterprise sectors

All applications must be submitted on or before Friday, June 20th, 2025.
