About the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN)
The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) in partnership with international development organizations to address the financial challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country. Recognizing the crucial role that MSMEs play in driving economic growth, job creation, and innovation, DBN was designed as a sustainable financial institution dedicated to ensuring long-term access to funding for small businesses.
Our core mission is to bridge the financial gap that often limits the growth and expansion of MSMEs and small corporate entities in Nigeria. We achieve this by offering financial support and partial credit guarantees to eligible financial institutions, ensuring they can provide accessible and affordable loans to MSMEs. This initiative is structured to be market-driven and financially sustainable, fostering an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and contribute meaningfully to national economic development.
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting business growth and financial inclusion, we are currently seeking qualified professionals to join our team in various capacities.
