Call for Proposals: Empowering Youth Through the National Youth Service Programme (NYSP)
The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), through its leading initiative—the National Youth Service Programme (NYSP)—is excited to announce a transformative opportunity for youth-led organizations across South Africa.
As part of its commitment to youth empowerment and nation-building, the NYDA will engage 90 youth-led organizations—ten (10) from each of the nine provinces—into a 10-month capacity-building journey aimed at strengthening community-driven development.
Program Overview
Selected organizations will undergo a structured induction program, where they will be introduced to the NYS norms, standards, and operational frameworks. During this period, participants will receive practical toolkits, templates, and guidance to support the development of impactful, youth-focused projects that drive social cohesion, patriotism, active citizenship, volunteerism, and nation-building.
To ensure robust program delivery, NYSU will work alongside key partners to address issues of governance, compliance, and sustainability within participating organizations.
