The Flourish Africa Grant for Female Entrepreneurs is a One Billion Naira Fund dedicated to supporting and fostering African female-owned businesses over a span of 5 years. This initiative aims to empower the entrepreneurial endeavors of a minimum of 2,500 female business owners through a combination of funding and structured training.

Within the program, a yearly commitment ensures the training of at least 500 female entrepreneurs in business and life skills. Following this, the top 100 achievers from this pool become eligible for grants of 3 million naira each from a 200 million naira annual fund. The Flourish Africa training curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to educate and equip female entrepreneurs for their business journey, offering them a platform for practical skill development, mentoring, access to business capital, and entry into the marketplace.

The application process for the grant spans from November 27th, 2023, to December 31st. To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria, including being females aged between 18 and 50, having at least 51% ownership of the business (if co-owned with a man), access to internet-enabled devices for training, a commitment to a 4-month virtual training period, businesses in the start-up phase, and domiciliation in Lagos, Abuja, or River State.
