Scholarship Value
Each recipient will receive a minimum award of £10,000, which will be applied toward tuition fees for a one-year, full-time taught master’s programme at the University of York. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of York GREAT Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries — China, Greece, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, or Vietnam.
- Tuition Status: Must be classified as an international student and subject to overseas tuition fee rates. All tuition assessments must be finalized no later than May 16, 2025.
- Language Requirements: Any English language proficiency conditions attached to your offer must be fulfilled by May 16, 2025.
- Admission Offer: Must hold either a conditional or unconditional offer of admission for a one-year full-time postgraduate taught programme at the University of York by May 16, 2025. Please note that acceptance of the offer is not required by this date.
Who is Not Eligible?
Applicants will not be considered for this scholarship if:
- They are already receiving a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition fees or are fully sponsored by another organisation or government.
- They are current students at the University of York who began their studies in a previous academic year.
