Our Mission and Your Role
UNICEF’s mission is to advocate for the rights of every child worldwide through its programs, policies, and operations. The organization’s equity-based approach prioritizes reaching the most marginalized children and families, transforming the universal vision of children’s rights into measurable outcomes.
Equity ensures that every child has the opportunity to survive, grow, and thrive without discrimination. Research shows that prioritizing the health, education, and safety of disadvantaged populations not only improves individual lives but also strengthens long-term social and economic stability.
By championing fair opportunities, UNICEF supports the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, fostering development and equality across the globe.
