UNAOC Intercultural Innovation Hub 2024: Calling for Grassroots Organizations Worldwide with a Financial Grant of USD 20,000.

The Intercultural Innovation Hub (IIH) serves as a platform to foster connections between individuals and cultures, empower grassroots organizations, and amplify innovative initiatives that contribute to building inclusive societies.

We extend an invitation to not-for-profit grassroots organizations that actively promote intercultural dialogue, understanding, and social inclusion. The selected organizations will receive comprehensive support aimed at expanding the impact of their projects.

The Intercultural Innovation Hub is set to choose up to 10 projects addressing issues such as xenophobia, hate speech, violent extremism, gender equality promotion, leveraging sports, art, and culture for societal change, and fostering social inclusion to build cohesive societies.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Intercultural Innovation Hub, organizations must be not-for-profit entities implementing projects focused on promoting intercultural dialogue and fostering diverse and inclusive societies. Examples include initiatives in gender equality promotion, prevention of xenophobia, violent extremism, and hate speech, utilization of sports, art, and culture for social change, support for the LGBTQI+ community, advocacy for gender diversity, and championing disability rights and inclusion. One-time events such as festivals, conferences, etc., are not supported.

Selected recipients will enjoy the following benefits:

Financial Support: Each finalist will receive up to USD 20,000 to scale up the sustainability of their project and accelerate its impact.

Year-long Capacity-building Program: Recipients will participate in a year-long series of capacity-building workshops, receive focused support, and benefit from customized mentoring provided by UNAOC and the BMW Group, with the support of Accenture.

Global Leadership Platform Access: Recipients will gain access and membership to a global leadership platform, providing opportunities to extend their spheres of influence, collaborate with other changemakers, and participate in regional and international events.

Selected projects that champion diversity, integration, and social inclusion will receive support to scale up their impact and achieve sustainable growth. Participants will receive a financial grant of up to USD 20,000, a comprehensive capacity-building program, international workshops, customized support and mentorship, as well as membership to an exclusive global platform.
