Overview: Are you dedicated to ensuring meticulous adherence to established protocols in every receipt process? Do you possess exceptional organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail? If yes, an exciting opportunity awaits you to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc as a Receipt Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and report all AGO/Fuel trucks received at designated duty stations.
  • Conduct thorough physical inspections and ullage assessments of incoming trucks prior to discharge.
  • Address any driver-related concerns upon arrival to facilitate smooth product discharge in collaboration with the Stores Team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to receipt protocols as per approved SOP, from weighbridge to flow meters, and accurately document all relevant data, including prevailing density measurements.
  • Promptly communicate all pertinent information regarding arrived trucks.
  • Participate in and oversee daily tank measurements, maintaining records of opening and closing balances for each tank to support stores reports validation.
  • Promptly escalate any issues potentially affecting the integrity of received products, such as ullage discrepancies or truck calibration chart verification.
  • Report discrepancies between weighbridge and flow meter readings at receiving points and recommend calibration when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (HND/B.Sc.) in Social Science, Humanities, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas downstream sector or within a Transport/Haulage company.
  • Possession of relevant Professional Certification is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in understanding petroleum product behavior and storage tank dynamics.
  • Sound knowledge of loading/offloading Measurement Parameters (e.g., Flow meters, weighbridge, Ullage).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage drivers and collaborate within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for regular reporting, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheet skills.
