Job Description: As a security officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the constant and adequate protection of all company assets. This entails maintaining a vigilant presence, monitoring surveillance systems, and conducting patrols to deter any potential security threats.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Regularly patrol designated areas to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Perform routine security checks on entry points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Stay alert to detect any potential breaches in security.
- Promptly respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Verify the identification and credentials of individuals on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and activities.
- Address inquiries regarding security procedures in a helpful manner.
Requirements:
- Primary School Certificate (Preferably WASC/SSCE/GCE) plus a minimum of 30 years of experience in industrial security, Government Intelligence Agencies, or Armed Forces.
- Strong observational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed and effective during emergencies.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
