Abia State Government Announces Recruitment of 2,500 New Teachers
The Abia State Government has officially launched a recruitment drive to hire 2,500 qualified teachers to serve in various rural and riverine schools across the state. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to improving education quality and accessibility in underserved areas. Application Guidelines
Applicants are required to follow these steps carefully to complete the recruitment process:
Step 1: Start Application
- Click on the ‘START APPLICATION’ button Below .
- You will be redirected to the Bio-Data page to provide personal details and choose the subject area or post relevant to your first-degree course of study.
Step 2: Fill in Personal Details
- Ensure your mobile number and email address are accurate and functional, as they will be used to send your User ID and Password.
- Clearly state any disability or special needs to ensure adequate provisions are made for you during the recruitment process.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
- Upload a recent and clear passport photograph.
Step 4: Save and Continue
- Once you complete the Bio-Data section, click the ‘SAVE AND CONTINUE’ button.
- Upon submission, you will receive an SMS and email containing your User ID and Password.
Step 5: Provide Academic Qualifications
- On the Academic Qualification page, input details of your primary, secondary, and tertiary education.
- For primary and secondary education, include only the school from which you obtained the certificate.
- For tertiary qualifications, list your first degree first, followed by any additional qualifications. Multiple entries for tertiary qualifications are allowed.
Step 6: State NYSC Status and Upload Documents
- Indicate your NYSC status and upload all necessary documents.
Step 7: Finalize and Submit Application
- Review your application thoroughly by clicking the ‘COMPLETE APPLICATION’ button.
- If corrections are needed, click ‘SAVE & EXIT’ to make edits within 14 days (or until the application window closes).
Important Notes for Applicants
- Service Location: Successful candidates must be willing to serve in rural or riverine schools for a minimum of five years. Only apply if you are prepared to work in such areas.
- Grace Period: Applicants can revise submitted information within 14 days after submission.
