The Role: Senior iOS Developer (Remote)
As a Senior iOS Developer at Neybox, you’ll play a critical role in leading the development of our iOS applications. You’ll work closely with our product and design teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance features that elevate the user experience.
This is a full-time, remote role with a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, based on experience and skill level.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain advanced features for our iOS apps (Pillow and Today).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to implement elegant, user-centric solutions.
- Optimize app performance, fix bugs, and write robust, maintainable code in Swift.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration workflows.
- Drive innovation by proposing and developing new ideas that improve functionality and usability.
- Maintain a deep understanding of iOS SDK, design principles, and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
- Deep knowledge of Apple’s design principles, interface guidelines, and iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Core Data, and performance tuning.
- A passion for clean code, attention to detail, and a product-focused mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Bonus Points
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
- A background or interest in health, wellness, or personal productivity.
- Previous work on apps with large user bases or high App Store ratings.
- Contributions to open-source iOS projects.
