Manager – Change Management
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos, South West Region, Nigeria

Reports To: Senior Manager – Employee Experience and Change
Objective:
Lead and support organizational change initiatives aligned with business goals, ensuring smooth adoption by employees and stakeholders. Drive the successful implementation of transformation projects while fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the organization’s readiness for change and develop strategies to ensure smooth adoption.
- Conduct post-implementation assessments to evaluate the impact of change initiatives.
- Implement structured change management methodologies to guide transformation projects effectively.
- Analyze the effects of change on existing structures and measure the organization’s capacity to adapt.
- Identify potential risks related to change adoption and develop mitigation plans to address resistance.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to integrate change management activities into broader project plans.
- Develop an annual change management strategy, including stakeholder mapping, communication plans, and methodologies.
- Establish company-wide guidelines on change triggers, degrees of change, and when external consultants should be involved.
- Partner with business leaders and department heads to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of change initiatives.
- Maintain credibility of the Change Management Office (CMO) by establishing clear success metrics.
- Work closely with MTN Nigeria’s leadership team to enhance awareness of expected behaviors and highlight the impact of non-compliance on business performance and reputation.
- Drive MTN Group and MTN Nigeria transformation projects with a focus on customer-centricity.
- Lead initiatives that influence employee perception and reduce resistance to change.
- Serve as the primary contact for change management initiatives, overseeing the execution of change management plans.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employees to embrace change and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Professional certification in Human Resources is an advantage.
- Experience:
- 6–13 years of relevant experience.
- Background in change management within a mid-to-large-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (must possess a valid Change Management Certification).
- Experience leading complex transition or transformation projects.
- Previous experience in a consulting or advisory capacity within HR.
