Job Title:

Advisor – Benefits and Recognition
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos, South West Region, Nigeria
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Senior Manager – Reward and Recognition

Objective:

Support the Human Resources function by overseeing benefits administration, workforce reporting, and employee recognition initiatives. Ensure the seamless execution of recognition programs while leveraging data analytics to enhance HR decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and efficient operations.
  • Develop statistical models to improve decision-making in reward and recognition management.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices in employee benefits and recognition, benchmarking MTN Nigeria’s HR initiatives against internal and external standards.
  • Oversee and track employee participation in recognition programs, providing reports on engagement levels.
  • Coordinate and promote monthly, quarterly, and annual recognition campaigns, supporting divisional initiatives.
  • Manage the administration of Club 0803, including vendor sourcing, platform maintenance, employee engagement, and resolving queries.
  • Assist in reviewing existing policies, processes, and procedures (PPPs) to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes.
  • Enhance HR data quality and optimize data sources for improved workforce insights.
  • Compile and distribute monthly headcount reports.
  • Generate workforce metrics, analyze performance trends, and report on key workforce indicators.
  • Assist in managing staff bus administration to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address employee inquiries related to benefits and recognition in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide support for additional tasks and projects as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, business administration, or any relevant field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–7 years of professional experience in a specialized role.
    • Prior experience in a mid-sized organization.
    • Background in business analysis, consulting, or advisory roles.
    • Human Resources experience is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of analytics and statistics as applied to business performance.
