JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission/Core Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for managing bid submissions and responses for large RFPs or RFQs, both internally and externally. Responsibilities include coordinating responses from various departments, contributing to the establishment of a central repository, and overseeing the sourcing of price books.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Performance Areas:
Develop a strategy and operating model for efficient bid response coordination.
Coordinate inputs from internal and external stakeholders for bid content.
Establish a task team for vetting incoming bids and ensure compliance with customer RFP/RFI.
Utilize standard templates for bid management, solution designs, and documents.
Manage a central repository to convert customer-specific bids into standardized offerings.
Ensure clear communication and integration between business units post-successful bids.
Integrate quality management processes within Systems Engineering.
Provide regular reports and dashboards reflecting bid performance based on statistical analysis.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and adherence to OLAs between different functions.
Assess the competitive landscape for strategic positioning of offerings.
Role Deliverables:
Operating framework and process for bid management.
Qualification, coordination, and management of bids.
Establish and maintain a central repository of bids and internal/external OLAs.
Contribute to accelerating revenue by supporting internal and external sales.
Regular market analysis and price benchmarking.
Continuous engagement with supporting functions for compliance with group policies.

Bayobab Fibreco, Presales, Product, Planning, Technical, and Finance teams.
Bayobab OpCo and Group Enterprise demand management teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, and Competencies):
Education:
Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (Commerce, Engineering, or Business Science).
Postgraduate qualification MBA/Masters (Commerce, Engineering, Science) preferred.
Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic (as an advantage).
Experience:
5+ years relevant cost modeling and pricing experience in the fixed line international telecommunication industry.
Competencies:
Effective collaboration in a multi-cultural environment.
Strong analytical skills for anticipating demand and decision-making.
Working knowledge of business practices, risk management, and business development.
Adaptability to changing business requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
