Role Overview
The Vice President of Cards will drive the strategic development and management of Moniepoint’s card products, including debit, credit, and prepaid options. This executive role demands expertise in card program management, market dynamics, and customer needs. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement a robust strategy for Moniepoint’s card portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market opportunities.
- Product Innovation: Oversee the design, launch, and optimization of card products to meet customer demands and drive engagement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct detailed research to track trends, understand competitors, and uncover customer insights for informed product positioning.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all card products meet industry regulations and standards, working closely with compliance and legal teams.
- Customer Engagement: Partner with marketing and customer support teams to boost acquisition, retention, and satisfaction for card offerings.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs to assess the success of card initiatives, leveraging data to enhance decision-making and outcomes.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the cards division.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technology, operations, and finance teams to deliver seamless card products and customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Over 10 years in the financial services sector, with a proven focus on card products and program management.
