About the Role
As a Communications Specialist at Moniepoint, you will play a key role in articulating our story in a compelling and impactful way. Working closely with the Corporate Affairs team, you will create content that highlights Moniepoint’s influence and achievements. Your responsibilities will include crafting innovative campaigns, leveraging data insights to uncover new content opportunities, and developing engaging materials for platforms such as social media and reports. You will also collaborate with various internal teams to gather inspiring narratives that reinforce our brand and connect with our audience.

Purpose of the Role
We’re seeking a talented storyteller—someone who can transform complex ideas into relatable and captivating narratives. Your work will be central to communicating Moniepoint’s mission and values in an authentic and relatable way.
Key Responsibilities
Shape Moniepoint’s brand identity and ensure all content aligns with our communication strategy.
Simplify complex subjects into content that resonates with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to collect, curate, and share compelling stories.
Maintain an editorial calendar showcasing varied and impactful narratives.
Build strong relationships with team members and external stakeholders to uncover meaningful stories.
Identify and gather content from internal and external sources to enrich our storytelling.
Partner with Communications and PR teams to create innovative campaigns and discover new content opportunities.
Develop impactful content for various channels, including websites, social media, reports, and external communications.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a communications role with a portfolio showcasing self-developed content.
Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to turn ordinary situations into engaging narratives.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to conduct research, collaborate effectively, and plan strategically.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using storytelling to drive organizational goals and deliver measurable results.
