Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (JBN) stands as a prominent Nigerian company offering comprehensive services encompassing the planning, design, engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of structures, infrastructure, and industrial projects. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its pledge to bolster education and human capital development in Nigeria, JBN is granting scholarships to eligible female engineering students enrolled in public universities across the nation.
Please ensure that you thoroughly review all the information in the various sections before commencing your application.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted on or before October 9, 2023.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the examination date. JBN retains the right to select and shortlist candidates.
Important Notes:
The application for the JBN scholarship is completely free.
SCHOLASTICA is the official platform for the JBN Scholarship.

Any applicant found to have submitted false documents will be disqualified at any stage of the scholarship process.

This merit-based scholarship is open to full-time female undergraduates studying the following courses in public universities within Nigeria:

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must:
Be Nigerian citizens.
Be female.
Be enrolled in a Federal or State Owned University in Nigeria.
Be in the Faculty of Engineering, Environmental, or Technology.
Currently, be in their second year of full-time study in a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system.
To apply, follow these steps:

Activate your account by checking your email.
Return to the scholarship site at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/jbn2023.
Log in with your registered email and password to enter your information.
Fill in your personal details, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, and upload the required scanned documents.
Ensure that the names used in your application match the names on all documents. Provide a sworn affidavit or certificate if necessary.
Review all uploaded documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
When prompted to upload a photo, use a passport photograph with a white background.
Double-check application information to avoid errors.
Click “Apply Now” to submit your information.
A confirmation message will appear to indicate a successful application.
Return to
https://candidate.scholastica.ng/,
log in with your Email and Password to download your profile, and have your Head of Department sign the document.
Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification.
If you do not have a National Identification Number (NIN) at step 6, obtain your NIN by visiting https//:ninenrol.gov.ng/
Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/JBN and update your application with the National Identification Number (NIN) to complete the process.
Note: Multiple applications will result in disqualification.

Terms of Award & Acceptance:
To remain eligible for the award, you must be a full-time student maintaining satisfactory academic progress, a minimum CGPA of 3.5, and comply with campus student conduct standards.
Deferral of the scholarship is not permitted.
Withdrawing from a course and switching to another within the same faculty of engineering will not affect the scholarship.
The scholarship will become void if you no longer meet academic requirements or decide not to continue with your university course.
Interruptions or repeating a year will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The scholarship award expires upon completing the course.
JBN aims to provide consistent financial aid throughout the undergraduate years, but it may be adjusted based on circumstances.
The scholarship is renewable each academic year.
A minimum GPA of 3.5 must be maintained to retain the scholarship.
Candidate selection considers various factors, including academic achievements, aptitude test scores, and document verification.
Scholarships are exclusively for full-time students.
Lost scholarships cannot be reinstated.
The scholarship can be used at any recognized Nigerian university.
