Role Overview
The Head of Quality Control is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure adherence to ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role is integral to maintaining product quality, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
- Maintain and update the company’s ISO Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety).
- Coordinate ISO certification and surveillance audits.
- Quality Assurance Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and practices.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Audits and Improvement Initiatives:
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to assess QMS effectiveness.
- Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and boost efficiency.
- Employee Training and Support:
- Train employees on quality processes, ISO standards, and best practices.
- Foster a company-wide culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Supplier Collaboration:
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
- Conduct supplier audits to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Customer Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
- Investigate quality issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality improvements and corrective actions.
