Overall Purpose:
The primary objective is to foster a passion for reading poetry and literature among students while improving their writing and speaking abilities. This role follows the curriculum outlined by WASSCE and NECO.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Breaking Down the Scheme of Work – Daily
- Lesson Preparation (Plan/Notes) – Weekly
- Delivering Lessons – Daily
- Conducting Reading Sessions During Lessons – Daily
- Assigning and Grading Student Assignments – Daily
- Conducting Continuous Assessment Tests and Marking – Monthly
- Administering and Grading Exams – Periodically
- Marking, Compiling, and Recording Student Results – Periodically
Performance Metrics:
- Utilization of Instructional Materials for Every Lesson – 20%
- Daily Punctuality – 30%
- Weekly Notebook Inspections and Marking – 10%
- Periodic Student Evaluations and Conducting Extra Lessons as Needed – 20%
