Job Description: Welcome to Dangote Cement Plc, a reputable Cement Manufacturing Company. We are currently in search of a highly motivated and proficient Logistics Manager to oversee the Product Receipt & Tracking department within our organization. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and seamless receipt, tracking, and movement of products throughout our supply chain network. Collaboration with various stakeholders such as suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams is essential to guarantee timely delivery of goods, cost reduction, and optimization of inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in product receipt and tracking.
- Supervise the receipt and inspection processes of incoming products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Establish tracking systems and procedures to monitor product movement across the supply chain.
- Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Coordinate with transporters to schedule and monitor deliveries, ensuring punctuality and minimizing delays.
- Maintain precise inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
- Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement in product receipt and tracking.
- Implement and uphold best practices in logistics operations to optimise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements in product receipt and tracking.
- Provide supervision and guidance to a team of logistics personnel.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in logistics management, specializing in product receipt and tracking.
- Proficient knowledge of logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in utilizing logistics management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Effective leadership and people management capabilities.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and quality standards in the logistics industry.
