The Amazon Loan is a special loan facility created by NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB) to empower women-owned businesses, especially micro-entrepreneurs, artisans, market women, and subsistence traders.
The aim is to:

- You are above 18 years old
- You are willing to provide a guarantor (or be in a group that guarantees each other)
- You have a valid means of identification and Bank Verification Number (BVN)

πΉ Option 1: Apply Through a Womenβs Group / Market Association
This is the most effective and popular way.
Steps:
- Join or organize a group of 5β10 women with small businesses.
- Each group member must:
- Run a business
- Be known and trusted by other members (cross-guaranteeing each other)
- The group nominates a leader and submits:
- List of members
- Business info
- Photos and addresses of each business
- Visit the nearest NIRSAL Microfinance Bank branch to submit your group application.
- An NMFB officer will review, inspect, and approve the group based on creditworthiness and unity.
- Once approved, funds are disbursed into individual accounts under the group structure.

- Walk into any NMFB branch nationwide.
- Ask for the Amazon Loan form.
- Fill and submit your application with required documents.
- Wait for business inspection and KYC check.
- If approved, you receive your funds directly.
