π³π¬ National Youth Confab 2025 β Everything You Need to Know
The National Youth Confab is a historic, all-inclusive national movement aimed at giving Nigerian youths a central role in shaping policies and decisions that affect their future. It is a youth-led, non-partisan initiative supported by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Ministry of Youth Development.
π§ Objective of the Confab
The primary goal is to move Nigerian youth from protest to policyβensuring their voices are not just heard but reflected in national legislation, programs, and development plans.
π Who Can Participate?
- Nigerian youths aged 18β35 (with limited spots open to those up to 40)
- Participants from all 774 LGAs and diaspora communities
- All genders, abilities, religions, and social backgrounds are encouraged
A total of 36,000 youth delegates will be selected across 360 Federal Constituencies, making it the largest youth policy dialogue in Nigerian history.

- June 2025: Registration opens nationwide
- June 30, 2025: Registration closes

The Confab will be conducted in three phases:
- Virtual Consultations β Participants join online discussions on national issues.
- Zonal Physical Meetings β Delegates meet in person across Nigeriaβs geo-political zones.
- National Conference β Final event in Abuja where policy recommendations are submitted to government bodies.
