JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research on computer hardware, software, networks, and the internet to troubleshoot and maintain equipment and networks in the computer forensic laboratory.
- Analyze complex cases involving multiple operating systems and mobile computing devices.
- Collaborate with industry technology and content providers to enhance the bank’s security against forensic threats.
- Gather and document key indicators and information about the threat infrastructure of live campaigns.
- Manage information security incident investigations, forensic artifact handling, and analysis.
- Identify systems compromised by cyber-attacks and oversee evidence collection, preservation, and transportation following a security incident.
- Conduct interviews and document findings related to computer crime.
- Examine information from computers under investigation.
- Prepare comprehensive analysis reports for use in investigations and as evidence in court proceedings.
- Generate technical reports and declarations necessary for legal trials.
- Provide advice on alternative analysis methods to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Train other digital forensic investigators on computer evidence procedures.
- Adhere to the principles and policies outlined in the information security handbook.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Minimum Education: First Degree in computer science/engineering, Higher Degrees/Professional Certificates
Experience:
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001
- Forensics experience
- Chain of custody process
- Good understanding of Best Practices Security Architecture
- Knowledge of the banking industry and banking operations
- Knowledge of banking applications, services/products
