Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Card Processing Officer to manage and oversee the end-to-end production and issuance of credit cards. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all card production processes are executed efficiently, all technical issues are resolved promptly, and that seamless coordination is maintained with third-party processors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Card Production Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of EMP credit card production, ensuring all issued cards meet quality and security standards.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any issues, disputes, or customer queries related to card production and issuance.
- Third-Party Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between the bank and third-party processors to facilitate the seamless generation and processing of card personalization files.
- Error Handling & Reprocessing: Download, analyze, and reprocess failed job files, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication with branch teams regarding request statuses.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with the Logistics Team to track and report on the status of card production, dispatch, and delivery.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis: Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on credit card production performance, trends, and areas for improvement, presenting key insights to management.
- Regulatory Compliance & Data Security: Ensure strict adherence to banking regulations and information security protocols to safeguard customer data and prevent fraud.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing card production processes to improve efficiency and minimize errors.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on electronic payment card processing and operational banking procedures.
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of electronic payment card operations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in banking operations, transaction processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve card production issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
