Role Overview
The Head of Human Resources Division will manage and deliver comprehensive, professional human resource services to support the bank’s operational units. Reporting to the Director of Administration and General Services, this position will help design and implement human capital strategies and translate HR policies into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resource Strategy Execution
- Develop HR strategies aligned with the Bank’s needs to recruit, retain, and maximize personnel contributions for long-term success.
- Ensure efficient workforce planning and manage staff files, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
2. Support for Operational Units
- Act as an HR consultant, offering high-level guidance to senior management on strategic HR issues.
- Establish and uphold HR service quality standards, making the HR Division a strategic partner for all departments.
3. Performance Management & Talent Development
- Develop performance evaluation systems aligned with organizational goals.
- Create and implement training and leadership development programs to build talent and plan for succession.
4. Recruitment Management
- Collaborate with departments to assess staffing needs and lead recruitment efforts, ensuring diversity and meeting operational priorities.
5. Team Leadership
- Oversee and support team members, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Employee Engagement
- Drive initiatives to boost employee morale and monitor engagement through feedback mechanisms.
7. Promoting Organizational Culture
- Lead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, promote work-life balance, and uphold core values.
8. Ensuring Diversity and Inclusion
- Implement fair recruitment practices and diversity programs to build an inclusive environment.
Additional Duties:
- Address tasks as assigned by senior management.
- Manage requests related to diplomatic privileges and immunities, providing advice and relevant information.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Sector Management, Organizational Development, or a related field in Human and Social Sciences.
- Experience: Previous HR management experience within a multinational organization.
- Skills:
- Expertise in collective bargaining and conflict resolution.
- Strong grasp of HR principles, practices, and strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in HR technologies, including HRIS.
- Professional HR certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in French, English, or Portuguese with a good working knowledge of at least one other language.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
