About the Internship Program:
The Pharmacist Internship Program at Chevron Nigeria Limited is a 12-month intensive training initiative that forms part of the company’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). It is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience for young Nigerian pharmacy graduates.
This internship provides an opportunity for recent Pharmacy graduates to gain valuable on-the-job experience in a structured environment. Participants will be engaged in a variety of tasks aligned with their area of study and will be placed under the guidance of experienced professionals within the company. Supervisors will provide direction on daily activities, monitor progress, and offer mentorship to ensure interns maximize their potential throughout the training period.

Eligibility Criteria:
The internship is open to candidates who meet the following conditions:
- Must be a recent graduate with a degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Nigerian or foreign university.
- Must hold a Provisional License issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-based, multidisciplinary environment.
Additional Application Requirements:
- A recommendation letter from the candidate’s university or faculty is mandatory. This letter must affirm the applicant’s suitability for an internship position.
- The internship program spans a total of 12 months.

- The selection process will involve aptitude and/or skills testing to assess the competence and readiness of applicants. Final selections will be merit-based and subject to the number of available internship slots.
