As a pre-accelerator programme that is designed to support early-stage startups and aspiring tech founders, ALIP also has an unflinching interest in the provision of guidance, resources and mentorship to refine business ideas, develop products or services and prepare participants for further acceleration and investment readiness.
The ALIP program offers access to the ARM network, exclusive deals from partner organizations, and expert mentors from the fintech industry who offer practical guidance and key introductions. We have for over a period of 8 weeks, work closely with every startup, with a primary focus on enhancing their product, market strategies, and team dynamics, to ensure they are prepared for success and scalability.
Qualifications and Eligibility
*Business startups at the pre-seed stage are eligible to apply on the condition that they must have either received or raised less than 500 thousand naira prior to their application for the program in question.
*These startups are equally expected to have demonstrated market demand for the product or services provided. This must however include a specified number of active customers, or a demonstrated growth rate within a stipulated time.
*A full-time operation by the startups founders including commitment and willingness to participate in the program.
*The interested brand or business should provide an evidence of market validation including user traction, customer feedback and initial revenue streams.
*Communication: This can be hybrid: Virtual or in-person. Irrespective of the mode, communication is a necessary requirement depending on the session.
*Acceptance of Terms: the startups must accept terms of investment prior to entering ALIP.
*The brand must be a legal and registered entity in Nigeria.
What You Stand To Gain
*ARM’s Judicious Investment: Startups that complete ALIP and meet all requirements as stipulated by the programme will receive up to $50,000 investment from ARM in exchange for 6% equity.
