The EDP For Africa (Entrepreneurship Development Program for Africa) initiative, launched in 2021 by Voice1Africa and Sound Mind Buildup, aims to train and financially empower young African entrepreneurs. This initiative fosters a community for Africans to collaborate, engage in business together, and contribute to a connected Africa.
The long-term goal of this initiative is to enhance the impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement, projected to be the world’s largest free trade area. With participation from 55 African countries and a combined GDP of US$3.4 trillion, this pact is set to connect 1.3 billion people.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age between 18 and 35
Currently engaged in business on the African continent or with the intention to start one
