We are seeking candidates for the following role:
Job Title: Project Management Specialist – RH

Job Purpose:
Under the supervision of designated OTLs, conduct due diligence for the Bank’s technical-assistance operations, monitor day-to-day technical-assistance and development-project operations management activities, ensuring efficient execution within approved costs, timeliness, and quality. Responsibilities include communication, monitoring, implementation support, contract management, and preparation of implementation reports.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Appraisal:
Provide technical support for project appraisals.
Liaise with Sector Teams in CPO to refine project appraisal documents.
Project Implementation and Monitoring:
Coordinate project implementation.
Prepare periodic project implementation assessment and support reports.
Maintain accurate project information in the bank’s operations management system.
Assess implementation progress and provide feedback/recommendations.
Project Closure and Review:
Provide inputs for project completion reports.
Compile inputs for Sectoral Teams, recording lessons learned.
General Project Management:
Provide inputs to ensure operational policies and procedures are followed.
Support Operations Team Leader in engaging external expertise according to the bank’s procurement policy.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
Additional qualification or certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development sector with an MDB or an International NGO.
Skills & Necessary Knowledge:

Vendor Management, Global Trends, and Challenges in the specific sector.
