Why This Campaign Matters
Sexual and reproductive health is one of the most critical yet under-discussed issues among young Nigerians. Many still lack accurate knowledge about:
- Consent and healthy relationships
- Contraceptive use and family planning
- STI/HIV prevention and treatment
- Access to youth-friendly health services
The absence of comprehensive SRH education often results in medical, psychological, social, and even economic consequences for young people.
By launching this campaign, the NSSF aims to empower Nigerian youth to:
- Tell their own SRH stories.
- Identify gaps in awareness and education.
- Suggest practical solutions that schools, communities, and policymakers can adopt.
Previous editions of WeNaija have successfully influenced conversations and policy directions on pressing national issues. The 5.0 edition builds on that momentum, offering young Nigerians not just recognition, but also financial support to bring their ideas to life.

Interested applicants must produce a 2–3 minute video that:
- Shows how limited or poor SRH education affects individuals or communities.
- Proposes clear, actionable solutions to improve awareness and access.
Formats Allowed:
