The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is inviting applications for Phase 2 of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) 2025, a government-backed program designed to empower Nigerians with relevant technical, vocational, and digital skills. This initiative is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing effort to combat unemployment and poverty under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Through this program, participants will receive hands-on training, monthly stipends, certification, and starter packs that include tools or business loans to launch their own ventures or improve their employability.
Program Objectives
The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative aims to:
- Equip unemployed Nigerians with practical and income-generating skills.
- Foster self-reliance through entrepreneurship and microbusiness development.
- Support job creation and sustainable livelihoods across diverse sectors.
Who Can Apply?
The initiative targets a broad range of Nigerians, including:

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between the ages of 18 and 45
- Demonstrate readiness to learn, work, or start a business
