The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has officially opened applications for the 7th edition of its flagship Entrepreneurship Training Programme (DBNETP). This initiative is dedicated to empowering MSMEs across Nigeria through capacity building, financial literacy, and access to funding.

Since its launch, the programme has trained over 4,000 small businesses through both digital and physical formats, using the DBN Learning Management System and strategic partnerships.

1. Virtual Training (Self-Paced):
Complete 4 mandatory courses with at least 80% average quiz score on the BizAid platform:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Credit Management & Access to Finance
  • Marketing & Sales Techniques
  • Sustainability for MSMEs

2. Onsite Training:
300 shortlisted candidates will attend 5 days of hands-on training in major Nigerian cities.

3. Pitch Competition:
All participants will pitch their business ideas for a chance to win grant funding of up to ₦1 million.
