The Technical Skills Development Programme is collaborating with the Nigerian Breweries to present the seven months Technical Skills Development Programme.
NECA (Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association) alongside The Industrial Training Fund (ITF), in collaboration with the Nigerian Breweries Plc, is calling for application from young and vivacious Nigerians, who are worthy in character and learning to undergo a 7-month Technical Skills Development Programme training in the fields of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance and Engineering.
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Applicants will train and equip youths with technical and science skills to make them marketable and employable
*Applicants will equally promote a Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational or Technical Skills Training and at the same time contribute to the capacity development of our country.
WHAT YOU STAND TO GET
*Selected candidates will be entitled to free tuition fee and lunch
*Trainees will enjoy free salary during the training period. They will only be entitled to a monthly stipends as the programme is non-residential type with training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigeria Breweries Plc and attachment in any of our Brewery Locations.
It should be noted however that the programme does not confer the status of the Nigeria Breweries employee on trainees.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Interested and qualified candidates must possess the following
*A minimum of credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
*Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma or any of its equivalent in any of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering, Computer Engineering or Chemical Engineering with at least a lower credit from any accredited and recognised institution.
*Candidates must be a graduate and not earlier than 2020.
*Candidates must have completed the mandatory NYSC as at the time of application.
