Nigeria is grappling with urgent environmental challenges such as poor waste management, climate change, and biodiversity loss. To address these pressing issues, the Nigeria PachiPanda Challenge 2025 has been launched, providing a unique opportunity for young innovators and youth-led SMEs to create sustainable, long-term solutions that can transform communities.
This initiative is powered by MTN Nigeria, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) through the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) and UNDP Nigeria. Beyond financial rewards, the program offers participants national recognition, international exposure, and the chance to represent Nigeria at a continental level.
Prizes for Winners
Winners of the Nigeria PachiPanda Challenge will receive significant grant prizes to scale their innovations:
- First Prize: ₦3,000,000
- Second Prize: ₦2,000,000
- Third Prize: ₦1,500,000
Top winners will also earn the honor of representing Nigeria at the Africa PachiPanda Finale in South Africa, where they will compete with champions from other African countries.
Who Can Apply (Eligibility)
The challenge is open to:
- Young individuals or teams of up to three persons
- Youth-led SMEs with innovative and environmentally focused projects
- Applicants dedicated to solving real environmental problems in Nigeria
