The LSETF Loan Program is designed to provide affordable funding for small businesses in Lagos State, promoting growth, wealth creation, and employment. With a modest 9% annual interest rate, the scheme targets registered Lagos State business owners.
Established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016, the LSETF aims to combat unemployment by offering financial support to Lagos State residents. The Fund, initiated with a N25 billion capital from the state government over four years, will also raise additional funds from various sources.
Categories under the program include the LSETF Micro Enterprise Loan (N50,000 – N500,000) and the LSETF Micro Enterprise Start-Up Loan (N50,000 – N250,000). Both categories have a 12-month tenor and a 5% equity requirement, with eligibility criteria such as LASSRA ID, LIRS tax ID, valid government-issued identity card, BVN, passport photographs, and a business existence of at least one year.
Additionally, the TACT Loan, facilitated by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, offers opportunities for residents or businesses in the Lagos East Senatorial District (Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ikorodu, Kosofe, or Somolu). This loan program features four categories, ranging from Nano Loans (N10,000 – N100,000) to Small & Medium Enterprise Loans (N500,000 – N1,000,000) at a competitive 6% annual interest rate.
