  In a world that is vastly becoming tech inclined, it is pertinent for everyone to become tech savvy. It is on this note that the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) has set to launch a six-week programme for media practitioners within six months. The programme will help participants to understand first hand how to effectively navigate a tech-inclined workspace through the acquisition of technology based knowledge and skills.

  Interestingly, aside its fully funded six months fellowship, the platform is also patterned to support the sustainable economic growth with regards to the developing media scene. This feat cuts across every media scope ranging from electronics, print, online platforms as well as social media content creators. The mouthwatering benefits of this fellowship include accessibility to professional materials and mentorship from SME faculty, a profound understanding of the tech sector of the Nigerian economy as well as the relationship between media and technology amongst other benefits.

Criteria
*Interested candidates must be a media professional or practitioner

*Possession of an International passport

*Candidates will be subjected to a written test and subsequent interviews.

*Candidates must obtain a recommendation letter from employers to participate in the programme.

Knowledge will be served to participants in three areas:

1. The Telecom Industry
2. Media Innovation
3. Writing and Reportage under the close supervision and scrutiny of an expert coupled with mentorship and a community of supportive media professionals. Participants will gain the required skill and knowledge needed to create success and sustainability in the tech world.

*33 Days in a Class

Accepted candidates will be mandated to spend 33 days in a class in the course of the training.

*7 Days in South Africa
Candidates will as well be required to spend 7 Days in South Africa for training in an all-expense paid trip.

*1 Day in MTN Office
Candidates will also be coached at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and MTN Group Headquarters.

*1 Industry Visits and Tours
Additionally, there will be a one day training at the Innovation Hub.
