The Federal Ministry of Education is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified Nigerian students for the 2024/2025 cycle of the Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and the Education Bursary Award (EBA). These awards are aimed at supporting academic excellence and easing the financial burden of tertiary education for students enrolled in public institutions across the country.

Eligibility Requirements
For the Education Bursary Award (EBA):
- Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time students in Education-related programs at Nigerian public Colleges of Education or Universities.
- Only students who have successfully completed at least their first academic year (i.e., second year and above) are eligible to apply.
- Individuals benefiting from any other government-funded scholarship are not permitted to apply.
- Students living with disabilities who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply.
For the Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA):
- Postgraduate Applicants must hold a first degree with at least a Second-Class Upper Division and be enrolled full-time in a Federal or State University.
- Undergraduate and HND Applicants must:
- Be in their second year or higher of study.
- Be full-time students in any Federal or State University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic.
- Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of:
- 4.0 on a 5.0 scale, or
- 5.0 on a 7.0 scale, or
- 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (for HND applicants).
- Students with disabilities are welcome to apply if they meet the academic and institutional criteria.
