Eligibility
To participate in the AUDA-NEPAD Africa Skills Revolution Campaign, you must:
Be an African graduate
Be between 16 and 35 years old with an inspiring career journey or story
Selection Process: Judging Criteria
Passion & Inspiration: Enthusiasm for your projects and skills, ability to inspire others, and how TVET has empowered you.
Aspirations & Ambitions: Clear goals for your future in vocational fields and the support needed to achieve them.
Potential for Impact: Demonstrated impact on economic growth at local, national, or continental levels, including improved community conditions and social inclusion.
Innovation: Creative application of vocational skills to solve challenges or introduce new solutions.
Benefits of the Africa Skills Revolution Campaign 2024
Winners will receive USD 1,500, which can be used to enhance skills, further careers, or support entrepreneurial endeavors. In your submission, explain how you intend to use the prize money to achieve your business goals or career milestones.
Additionally, selected winners may have the opportunity to attend WorldSkills Africa 2025 to showcase their career progress and highlight how the prize has contributed to their professional growth.
Inspiring stories from all participants, including those who don’t win, may be featured on ASPYEE platforms, AUDA-NEPAD’s and Humana People to People’s social media, as well as in the final Africa Skills Revolution report.
Share your journey to inspire peers, parents, policymakers, and society at large, changing the perception of TVET and igniting a movement.
Application Process
To apply for the Africa Skills Revolution Campaign, follow these steps:
Online Application Submission: Submit your application in English, Portuguese, or French through the online form. Deadline: September 26th, 23:59 (GMT+3).
Shortlist Announcement: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email on October 4th. Shortlisted applicants must submit a 2-minute video demonstrating their skills and achievements by October 10th, 23:59 (GMT+3).
Final Winners Announcement: Winners will be revealed at the Awards Ceremony during Africa Skills Week in Accra, Ghana, on October 14th.
