Afreximbank Group acknowledges that, as part of its core mandate to foster and finance trade across Africa, it must work towards enhancing the understanding of the challenges faced by African trade and trade finance. This includes a focus on the principles of trade finance, particularly structured trade finance, which serves as the Bank’s primary operating model.
The internship opportunity is open to students who are nationals of the Bank’s member countries—whose list can be accessed on the Bank’s official website—as well as students of African descent living in the diaspora, and non-African students who share a vision for Africa’s transformation aligned with Afreximbank Group’s mission. The programme is designed to attract top-tier candidates, with selection based purely on merit.
