Position Available: Legal Counsel – Operations

Role Overview
The Legal Counsel will serve as the primary liaison between Seven-Up’s manufacturing plants, the supply chain division, and headquarters for legal and regulatory matters (excluding disciplinary issues). This role also involves managing the company’s real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards impacting Seven-Up’s manufacturing activities, ensuring all operations and products comply with legal requirements.
- Support the Regulatory Affairs team in responding to inquiries related to factory compliance, production processes, product composition, and labeling.
- Notify the Industry Affairs team of any relevant regulatory developments affecting Seven-Up’s manufacturing operations.
- Manage product liability claims in collaboration with insurers.
- Oversee real estate transactions for Seven-Up and associated entities, including commercial and industrial tenancies, leases, and freeholds.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
- Admission to the Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria
- 5-7 years of post-call experience in a related role
- Relevant expertise in regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and property management
