Job Description
The IT Site Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure and services at a specific site. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing local network configurations, ensuring data security, and providing support to end-users.
Main Responsibilities
IT Operations Management: Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems. Implement best practices for IT operations, following ITIL or similar frameworks.
Service Level Management: Monitor and report on IT service performance, ensuring service levels are met or exceeded. Collaborate with IT service providers and internal teams to maintain agreed-upon standards.
Incident and Problem Management: Ensure quick response and resolution of IT incidents to minimize disruption. Lead efforts to identify and resolve root causes to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Proven experience in managing IT services and infrastructure, particularly in the FMCG sector.
Professional IT service management certifications, such as ITIL Foundation or higher.
Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are beneficial.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) demonstrating hands-on expertise.
